Handcrafters and Artists To Offer 'Hand-Made in Hawaii' Work

Start your holiday shopping for unique Hawaii made arts and crafts. The Hawaii's Handcrafters and Artisans Alliance will hold two artfests at Thomas Square in November and December. The two-day festivals will be held Nov. 19 and Nov. 20, and again on Dec. 10 & 11, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thomas Square is located between the Academy of Arts and Blaisdell Center.

The artfests will include "handmade-in-Hawaii" apparel, jewelry, woodwork, ceramics, stained glass, original arts and crafts, as well as local music, entertainment, and food.

The guild members usually exhibit their works at Kapiolani Park in Waikiki one weekend a month. For more information and the 2012 schedule, visit the Handcrafters and Artisans Alliance site at www.hotcrafts.net.
