New Season in Waikiki

Throngs of fans crowded Waikiki Beach and Kalakaua Avenue sidewalks to see Hawaii Five-0's second season premier on Sept. 10. The show was shown on the super-sized screen at Sunset on the Beach at Queen's Beach in Waikiki.
CBS will air the show for the rest of the world on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 on CBS Television.
Fans jostled each other hours before the showing for a good post to view the show's stars as well as enjoy the food and local entertainment. This is the second year CBS premiered the first episode in Hawaii.
The popular series is an update of the classic series featuring Detective Steve McGarrett as head of an elite crime fighting force in Hawaii. The new series stars Alex O'Loughlin as McGarrett, Scott Caan as "Danno," Daniel Dae Kim as Kelly, and Grace Park as Kono Kalakaua.
